How much money do we pay up front?
NONE, there is NO money required up front. A signed contract with all the specifications of what we are doing will be provided and we will be paid in full at the completion of the job.
How long will it take you to complete my job?
It depends on the scope, size, and the detail. If problems occur we take pictures and show the homeowner and do not cover up anything that needs attention. Due to this it may take extra time.
Why does my roof need ventilation?
Ventilation helps remove excess heat and moisture from your attic that can raise your energy bills and cause premature peeling of interior paint and wallpaper.
Does vinyl siding have any maintenance requirements?
No, that is the beauty of vinyl siding. The only thing that is encouraged to be done to your vinyl is to keep it as clean as possible every couple of years it needs to be pressure washed with some type of detergent.
How do I choose a reputable contractor?
Research. Find out everything you can about the contractor you are contemplating using for the work to be done on your home. Make sure that they have all of the necessary information and legal documentation to protect not only themselves but you as the homeowner (i.e. correct insurance, ample coverage, current business license, etc.) Make sure they do not ask for any up-front money. Read your contract thoroughly. See if they are a local company and do not have a make-shift office just for temporary storm damage. Check their credentials.
Wouldn’t it just cost less to paint my house?
Yes and no. The first time you paint it would be cheaper, but if you add up the cost of how much you spend over the years painting you could install a insulated vinyl siding with a R-4 insulated rating that could save you about 25% of your home’s heating and cooling, and give you about 30% reduction of noise level.
